HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY OPTIONS
Classes are offered for adults, 18 years of age and older, who want to prepare for the GED® Test. Registration for the Official GED® Test must be done in advance.
ADULT HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA CLASSES
Adults who did not complete high school are offered the opportunity to earn credits towards high school completion. Classes may include English, VA/US History, US Government, Algebra, & Geometry. Transcripts will be requested (fees apply) and graduation requirements will be determined. SOL test scores must be verified.
OTHER EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Adults needing to learn and/or improve basic English in reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
ABE – Adult Basic Education
Adults who wish to upgrade their skills are provided assistance in academic areas such as, but not limited to: language usage, reading, mathematics, social studies, and science.
